Looking for an AI Business Coach in Folkestone? Coach, Consultant or Installer
A coach talks you through AI. An installer builds it. Knowing which one you need saves you a wasted month.
If you are after an AI business coach near Folkestone, first decide whether you want to learn AI yourself or have it set up for you. Dean Keating, based in Horndean, Hampshire, does the second: he builds and installs AI agents and does not sell a course.
People who type "AI business coach" into a search box are usually trying to say one of two different things. Either they want to understand AI well enough to use it themselves, or they want somebody to put it to work in the business so they can get on with the rest of their day.
Coaching: you do the work
A coach explains tools, sets you exercises and keeps you accountable. This suits an owner who enjoys learning and has evenings to spare. It also suits a business with a member of staff who likes software and would take on the system. The risk is that the weeks pass, nothing is running, and the lessons fade.
Installing: they do the work
An installer interviews you, picks the job, builds the agent, connects it to your tools and trains your team. You do less, and you have something that runs without you each morning. The cost is that you rely on the installer for the technical detail.
Where Dean Keating sits
Dean Keating, who publishes this site, is in the second camp. His service is done-for-you: a free call, an audit of the work worth automating, the build and install, then training and support. His website is clear that it is not a course. If a coach in the first sense is what you want, he is not the right person, and we would rather say that plainly.
What he does offer is a free first call that leaves you with a plan you can use with or without him. That is the nearest thing to coaching in the service.
Seasonal trade changes the question
Much of the local economy here follows the visitor calendar. The directory lists six hotels and guest houses and a Harbour Arm that its own guide describes as open seasonally, from spring through to autumn. An owner whose trade swells in summer has little time to learn a new tool in July. That argues for an installer who builds it in a quieter month, rather than a coach who needs your attention in the busy one. It is a pattern, not a rule: some owners prefer to learn.
Geography
He is based in Horndean, Hampshire. Sessions and installs happen by phone, video and remote access, which is how he works with Kent businesses. His website says he can visit businesses in Hampshire or nearby in person, which does not reach this far. If you want a coach who can sit in your shop, look at those based in Kent.
What to do next
Write down the two or three jobs you would most like off your plate. Then decide whether you want to learn to do them or have them done. Everything else follows from that.
